For more than a decade, the rendez-vous de la matière by FORMÆ trade fair has cultivated its uniqueness by revealing the richness of materials, the skills of craftsmanship and the innovations that shape the creations of tomorrow. For its 11th edition, the event is changing scale: a new venue, a renewed identity, a guest country, the FORMÆ AWARD and an exciting breakthrough into the world of design. Join us in the heart of Paris, in the exceptional setting of the Carreau du Temple, for an edition of high creative value.
With more than 100 carefully selected exhibitors, a radical and immersive scenography by Pauline Leprince and 7,000 qualified professionals visiting, this platform is becoming more than ever a catalyst for inspiration. Architects, designers, artisans, luxury brands, developers and local authorities will converge here to discover new materials, cutting-edge techniques and meaningful objects. Among the major new features of the 2025 edition is the creation of a section entirely dedicated to contemporary and “collectible” design. Designed as a laboratory of expression, it highlights both emerging talents and established names, in line with the latest aesthetic and functional trends.
Another highlight is the first edition of the FORMÆ AWARD, a distinction created to recognise the most innovative projects in the categories of Industry, Manufacture, Design and Craftsmanship. Designed by Jean-Michel Wilmotte and produced by COGITECH, these trophies will be awarded on 9 October 2025 by a jury of experts chaired by Jean-Michel Wilmotte and Sébastien Maschino. The four winners will benefit from exclusive visibility in 2026 thanks to a dedicated communication campaign by FORMÆ.
FORMÆ will also present Onze, the home fragrance for architecture, in a limited edition, designed by Jean-Michel Wilmotte and created by Emmanuelle Grin, the “nose” and artist perfumer at the Grace agency.
Supported by FORMÆ and rooted in the trends of tomorrow, the rendez-vous de la matière establishes itself as a strategic event for all those who think, shape and transform materials with vision and high standards. A manifesto edition not to be missed. •
